pebbles stay out - but hard to get shoe to dry

Our third - maybe fourth water shoe. Best we have had yet. It is so frustrating to get those sharp little pebbles in the shoe - these ones have solved that. But the liners came out of our Merells - and you could lay them in the sun to dry - ready for the next day. The Teva's liners do not come out. And I set the shoes in the sun to dry - at half day I checked on them and the plastic liner had already melted and curled up. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I can still wear them, but I feel the melted edge of the liner on the soles of my feet. After one day of wear - my new water shoes have a crappy liner!! I was tempted to return them - not acceptable! But what water shoe is better? I am very happy with the grip and that they keep the pebbles out.
