Stained Sole in under 30min

I had these delivered to my home at 3:06pm. It is 3:37pm as of writing.

Tried them on indoors with clean feet, they felt comfortable and fit well, so I took my dog outside for a quick walk around the block (it’s sunny, warm, dry, late June) and came back indoors, feeling confident about my purchase. I stepped from the sidewalk onto the grass once

As soon as I took my new sandals off, not even an hour old, there were yellow-orange stains near the toes on both sides. After checking my feet, all I found was a bit of dirt mixed with sweat as with any other sandal. I tried using a baby wipe to clean it off, as well as a bit of dish soap but no dice. I certainly didn’t expect this from a pair of $120 sandals.

I bought these in this purple to match my daughter’s sandals but at less than an hour old, I’m not all that impressed with the quality. I chose these over chacos but their light footbeds never stained like this.

I could see myself not feeling too rough after a day on my feet at festivals, without the usual blisters. My pinkie toes don’t love the side cushion. As a hypermobile person, I feel secure standing but the heel shape feels wobbly when I step. I hoped the cross strap would be convenient but it’s a lot to fiddle with and adjust, not as intuitive or customizable fit which sucks as an on the go parent.

Size is spot on with foot measurement, and my wide foot is almost well accommodated.
